How can I book KERRBANG!?

We’re so glad you’re keen to work with us! Use the form on our homepage, email kerrbangband@gmail.com, or DM us on Facebook or Instagram and we can have a no-obligation chat.

We’ll provide a tailored quote based on your event and, once you’re happy to proceed, we’ll ask for a 20% deposit via PayPal or bank transfer to secure the date. We’ll generally take the rest of the payment 30 days prior to the event.

What are KERRBANG!’s rates?

We offer a tailored service, so this depends on things like how long you would like us to play for, travel expenses, specific practicalities for your venue, and additional equipment requirements. We’ll be more than happy to talk this through with you - give us a shout we’ll put a quote together.

How long can KERRBANG! play?

We generally plan for two 45 minute sets with an interval, but we’re more than happy to cater to your requirements.

I heard you offer live karaoke as part of the experience, what’s that about?

We’re glad you asked!

You can either have us perform your favourite alt bangers as a band, or blend our “KERR-AOKE” offering where you and your guests become part of the show - queue nostalgic screaming.

Due to the practicalities around musical arrangements and instrumentation, events that feature “KERR-AOKE” do require a bit more planning than a more conventional performance, but we’ll be there every step of the way. Ask us about this popular add-on upon enquiring.

We are musicians too, can we join you on guitar/bass/tambourine for a number?

We love enabling authentic audience participation and your guests will get a major kick out of seeing you on leading from the front.

In principle yes, but as this can be quite involved - re. equipment, instrumentation, personal preferences - be prepared to kick the tyres with us during the planning phase. Guitarists will need to provide their own instruments.

What equipment will KERRBANG! show up with?

We’ll show up on the day with everything we need to perform - you don’t have to worry about a thing. We’ll liaise directly with your venue to make sure everything is sorted for the performance.

Does KERRBANG! have Public Liability Insurance?

Can we come and see KERRBANG! before we book?

Get in touch and if we’re playing at a clubnight or public event we’ll let you know - we’d love to see you there! Alternatively, our Youtube channel has recent footage of us so you can get an idea of what we’re all about.

What are KERRBANG!’s requirements on the day?

Access to water whilst on site. We’ll be travelling in cars and will need somewhere to park. Contact details for your venue coordinator are a must-have so we can work together behind-the-scenes on technical specifications and other practicalities. A backstage area and a raised stage is a nice-to-have but not essential.

How long do KERRBANG! need to set up?

It can take up to 90 minutes for us to set up and soundcheck - this has a lot to do with your specific requirements and practicalities relating to the venue itself. We’ll talk this through with you during the planning phase but please take this into consideration when planning the event.

Can I choose KERRBANG!’s setlist?

Absolutely! At your event you can play DJ and pick from our massive repertoire to create your perfect setlist. There’s a good chance that we already know your favourite song, but in case we don’t we are happy to learn your special request tracks (this may incur an extra fee if it’s a song that will take a long time to perfect, or if we are unlikely to play it again). The order the songs are played in may have to be decided by us though, as there are issues such as tunings to take into account. It’s really important to us that you and your guests have the perfect experience, so just ask!

What happens if a member of KERRBANG! falls ill?

Don’t worry - we’re privileged to have deep roots in the Brighton scene and we have a bunch of likeminded friends who we can call upon to step in.

What if I need to cancel KERRBANG!’s booking?

Hey, these things happen. Our booking fee is non-refundable but we won’t charge you our full quote as long as you give us two days’ notice. Liability for the cost of add-ons such as sound and lighting extras will be discussed in your initial quotation.

Can you play an alternative post-ceremony set as well?

We sure can! This is a new offering for 2025 onwards, where we’ll work together to build a more chilled alternative music set for guests to enjoy after your ceremony to get the vibes going before the party really starts on the dancefloor. Mention you’re interested in this when enquiring and we can provide further info.
